Cedega Mini Tutorials

I see a lot of tutorials on how to run shooters/action- and racinggames with cedega/wine on the net, but just a few on how to run adventure- or roleplaygames. As a Linux-only-user I really miss playing good singleplayer adventures/rpgs (other than the scummgames).

The purpose of these Mini Tutorials is to try to bridge that gap and describe little tweaks and tricks to run those kind of games with Cedega on Linux. This is not about installing or configuring Cedega, so read the Cedega documentation or molest their staff, if you have problems with that.

All games are tested on a Pentium4 2.4GHz, 512MB Ram, Asus N6200 with Debian GNU/Linux (Testing), Kernel 2.6.18-3-686 and the most recent Nvidia drivers (by now: 1.0-9631).

Adventures

Role Play Games

Note: I've only picked games, that run really fine. There are other games, that also run, but not stable or with major glitches. I will check back at them with every new Cedega release or with any new idea how to solve the problem. As soon as they satisfy my 'that run really fine' statement, I'll add them here.

Pending games: Grim Fandango, Gabriel Knight 3, Syberia 2
